We will be resuming our annual informal concert in our rehearsal home, St Mary Magdalene in Longbenton in May. This is always an enjoyable occasion and gives us all a chance to engage with our supportive Longbenton community.
Evensong at Carlisle Cathedral
Saturday 18 June 2022, 3 pm
In June we will be making our first visit to the beautiful cathedral in Carlisle to sing Evensong. We’re preparing an interesting selection of music by Estonian composer Arvo Pärt, Byrd and the Ukrainian born composer Galina Grigorjeva (now based in Estonia). Carlisle Cathedral is celebrating its 900th anniversary this year so it will be great to contribute to worship there in such an important year.

2021/2022 Season
Christmas with The Singers 2021
Our Christmas with The Singers concert is scheduled for 7 pm Saturday 18 December 2021 in St George’s Church, Jesmond here in Newcastle.
Tickets are £12.50 at the door, £10.50 in advance, including mulled wine and mince pies.
Covid arrangements
The audience numbers will be limited and social distancing will apply in the seating arrangements. If you buy in advance but have to cancel we will refund the amount paid if you cancel before the day of the concert. We recommend you wear masks at the event, at least while moving around the venue.
